maddie and brittany

Brittany picked me up from Melissa's this morning to take me looking for yard sales and antique shops. We have a very fun day! Today, I got a pink bag for third grade and a pair of sunglasses, which I decorated with pink fingernail polish! Brittany got a suitcase, toaster oven, and old wooden cross for her dorm. We walked around Target for a little while then ate at Snappy Tomato. Yummy!!!!
We finally got home. Then we were digging through my closet looking for some old clothes and toys to put in our yard sale this Saturday, June 5 if it doesn't rain. We had 5 trash bags full of old junk. I mean very cool stuff, so come buy it! We might have one more because of mom and dad's stuff. Come see me there! I'll be selling lemonade and cookies. By the way, Letters to Juliet was the best movie I have ever laid eyes on!

There won't be a Last Song

My mom just found out The Last Song isn't playing anymore, so now I will have to wait until it comes out on dvd. Today I am going to see Letters to Juliet instead. Have you seen The Last Song? Well, I haven't! But I bet Letters to Juliet will be good. I will tell you about it when I get home. I might call my cousin Meia and see if she can go.

swim and eat

At the YMCA I swam three laps. In the little pool, I couldn't swim because someone had a #2 accident! EWWWWWW! So I had to just play in the lap pool. It was ok though because I like swimming in the lap pool. When that was done we went to get the most delicious thing in the whole wide world. It was a Chick-Fil-A vanilla ice cream cone. Go and try it because it is like having the biggest room ever with everything you want in it. It is that good. Another time I ate it, it was so delicious to mom that she was looking at it while she was driving and we almost had a really bad wreck. Daddy thought it was so delicious that he almost had a wreck with me, mommy, and Radlee in the car. So, I wouldn't recommend eating it while driving a car. That is all for now! I am going to watch Punky Brewster in my bed. BYE!

Stuck on the road

Earlier my mom had a doctor's appointment and then we were going to the movies. My dad called while my mom was at the doctor and said he ran out of some paint and needed her to go the paint store and get some. He paints cars. She did not know how to get there so was using her phone to tell her how. The navigation lady kept telling us the wrong direction. We finally made it to the paint store and then to my dad's work. Next, we were going to go to the movies. We were in an area kind of far from our house, so my mom did not know how to get to the movies. She used her navigation girl again, but she kept leading us to places that were not the movies. We finally found it, but they didn't have The Last Song. Next, we decided we would go and see Letters to Juliet, but it was going to be over an hour before it started. Now, we are just going to see The Last Song in the morning. My sister wants to go too. Next week we might go and see Letters to Juliet. After that we went to the mall and the book store. I got A-Z mysteries, an Edward and Bella Twilight bookmark, Junie B. Junes Is not a Crook, Junie B Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus, and Junie B Jones Has a Monster Under Her Bed. Then we finally made it home. Right now, I am going to the YMCA to swim. I am not a 2nd grader anymore!!

This is my dog that I got in the second grade. His name is Samson. He is a goldendoodle. My second grade year was great. I had a really great teacher and made some really great friends. I am going to miss them. I am a little sad to leave the second grade, but I am very excited to be in the third grade. A lot of stuff has happened recently. My big sister graduated from high school. I hope I get to have her room when she goes to college, but my parents haven't decided yet.

This summer I am excited to be going on two different beach vacations. I am going to Seabrook Island with my mom, dad, brother, sister, Mimi, and Grandaddy. Right after that I am going to the Outer Banks with my Pappy, Grandmamma, and all of my aunts and uncles. I think this summer is going to be very fun. Well, that is all for now. I am getting ready to go to the movies to see The Last Song. I will tell you all about it when I get home.
